Thank you for this thoughtful address brother. May God work more through his Church and bring us to as close a unity as he has had with the Son and the Holy Ghost from all eternity, as our Lord prayed.

He didn’t have much sensitivity towards Traditional Latin Mass people.

Beyond the point of this post. Don’t make this polemical.

So true. I came into the church in Nov 2024 because of the TLM in my Budapest neighborhood. It's the only parish in BUD allowed to celebrate that mass. Perhaps that will change now. 🙏🏻

Your comment shows why Pope Francis was suspicious of TLM-Culture and viewed it as bigoted and backwards (not that I agree with that assessment).

There should not be such a thing as "TLM People" and "Novus Ordo People": while I personally find the Extraordinary Form more beautiful and reverent, I think your comment embodies the sectarian attitudes often present amongst TLM attendants.

I've never heard a "Novus Ordo Person" (to borrow your language) state that they would NEVER attend the Extraordinary Form, but I've met "TLM People" who have told me that they would NEVER attend a Novus Ordo Mass even if it were the only Mass in town, and who claim that the N.O. Missae is invalid.

I disagree with restricting TLM, but you must admit that this phenomenon is real, as it is precisely what Pope Francis described as being the reason why he restricted TLM. I've been to FSSP Masses where the Priest's Homily focus or touches upon issues like: hubris amongst TLM-goers, disobedience or malice towards the Pope, etc. But I have not observed such issues amongst N.O. Parishioners.

Instead of taking jabs at the recently deceased Pope (God knows I am capable of doing so myself), I think we should spend more time meditating on the beams in our own eyes.

I say all this as an appreciator and supporter of TLM + FSSP.
